Grants to improve the countryside leaflet
The Countryside Management Service used grant funding to produce a new full colour promotional leaflet entitled 'Grants to improve the countryside - help and advice in southern Hertfordshire'. The leaflet details the range of free advice and potential grant funding to help landowners and managers undertake projects such as hedgerow planting, pond restoration or meadow management. The leaflet also promotes national schemes such as those available through the Forestry Commission and DEFRA. Distribution is being carried out through officers of the Community Forest partners, libraries and local contractors.
