There are more to our Health Walks than simply walking. By volunteering to lead our walks you become part of a community of volunteers who are committed to helping people get outdoors, get active and reap the benefits. And you get to reap those benefits too!

What is in it for walkers?
Help them walk themselves well
- By leading walks you are helping walkers reduce their risk of depression and banish stress and anxiety.
Get them walking and talking
- Lead them on a walk and then into the pub for a cuppa and you’ll not only make new friends yourself but you’ll be helping your walkers do the same.
Lead them towards a healthy heart, bones and muscles
- You can help improve your walkers' health and fitness in many ways (links to the benefits)
Show them the way
- You help them discover their local countryside and surroundings and give them the confidence to explore, whilst safe in the knowledge that they’re not alone.
