This list contains examples of letters associated with each stage of the Evidential Modification Order process (Section 4.6) where in general a standard form can be used. In any case, letters may be amended to suit the individual circumstances of a case. For activities where letters must be tailored to the individual circumstances, no examples are given. Notices and Orders where the form is specified in Regulations may not be altered. Where the templates are also relevant to the Public Path Order process (Section 4.7) the Stage number is indicated in brackets.

Roles of ES&A administrative support:
- Organising the 'sealing' of Modification Orders, Legal Event Modification
Orders, etc.
Checks with County Secretary's when the next 'sealing' is.
Ensures the documents are on engrossing paper, sewn and dated, and that there are three copies.
Deposits the documents with County Secretary the day prior to 'sealing'.
Collects the documents once sealed, and returns them to the officer. - Printing consultation letters to private house/land owners and user groups of public
rights of way for Modification and Confirmation Orders.
In some cases, checks who the statutory undertakers are in the area (by phoning the relevant Highways Division).
Works out a timetable for objection period (42 days) and date of publication of the Order in relevant newspaper, and puts this information into the consultation letters.
Arranges for the Order to be advertised in the relevant paper.
Makes copies of the Order for each individual, as well as ensuring that Notices sent to the landowners/tenants are personalised.
Ensures consultation letters are posted one week prior to publication of Order in newspaper.
Organises encapsulation of Notices for display on the PRoW affected.
