Volunteer Training Programme - 2009
CMS organises a training programme to support Friends groups and its regular Conservation Volunteers. We want to ensure that all of our volunteers have the opportunity to learn new skills and become confident in carrying out their activities.
Pooled resources
The Countryside Management Service secured over £45,000 and worked in partnership to improve a section of the River Chess in Rickmansworth for wildlife and to protect a neighbouring lake.
Discover the River Ver
Exploring the River Ver will be much easier in future thanks to a grant from the National Lottery. The Countryside Management Service supported the Ver Valley Society to apply for funding to make the project happen.
